Building a Haunted Mansion... The Written Composition
Murder mansion
The fatal first floorOn the top of hill in the graveyard there stood a mansion. A mansion so tall and creepy that nobody dared to go near it for years. The door was old and crooked, falling off of its hinges. One woman, named Suan, did enter the old house on a dare. She fell in love with it. She decorated so that the room you first go into is a mudroom.
The mudroom was very big. It held all the doors to the first floor rooms. She always left the bathroom door open. She did this because it let light into the mudroom. She needed to do this because she was often away on work trips, and wanted it to look like people were home. This made it the perfect place for criminals to hide.
One day she was home. She had come back from a long trip and was jet-lagged. She wanted to take a shower as she was exiting the shower she slipped. She had bad cuts on both feet. As she got up she noticed movement outside the bathroom door, in the mudroom. She went to go check it out, leaving bloody footprints behind her. She screamed. Somebody was towering over her with a knife. She tried to run away but was paralyzed with fear. The knife arced through the air stabbing her directly in the heart. She felt no pain, but fell silently to the floor. Her murderer walked over her, leaving bloody footprints behind. To this day you can go into the house and see the dark bloody footprints, and the things the murderer left behind… Before Suan died she had many other fatal injuries. Because of a certain injury there is a game… Suan was about to take a bath so she ran the water and got in for a split second before she slipped face first into the tap, and JAMMED her eye out. Whoever dares to bathe in the bath shall be haunted by her.
There is a game, based off a true story… if you want to play, here are the instructions: run warm water in your bathtub, get inside, and close your eyes, chant Suan, Suan, three times, and every minute, every hour, she will be following you, getting closer and closer, just watching, and watching, until you finally go to bed...you will be awaken by a horrid scream. That scream is the exact scream suan did when she jammed her eye out. BEWARE…. THIS GAME IS DANGEROUS….if you don’t do it correctly…. There WILL be consequences… Some say if you do this game incorrectly, you see Suans eyeball inside the drainage hole, staring at you, following your every move…
Suan knew that the house was haunted. She got several offers to help keep her safe, This offer, was special.Once there was a nice lady that lived in a haunted house. It had been haunted for years, and the living dared not to go near it. for the nice young lady she wasn’t even scared to go to her own house. But the one thing that scared her in the house were her dogs.
She went to the living room and she saw a person on the couch she got scared and ran out of the house. She saw another person in the yard. She pulled out her phone and called 911. She said “please help me I am scared to death!” The phone stated, “please leave a message.” She had no choice but to say, “ I am not scared of you, I will fight.” But every time she missed, she got more scared, she said in her mind why are they here?
But then she says “who are you.” They said, “ we are normal people but dead.” She said “then why do you hating me?” The dead people said “sorry we didn't mean to scare you we were just trying to help you!” Then the lady says “then help me!” Suan had a butler. His name was Albert. He kept a diary of his time in the mansion…
Night 1
Hello Journal my name is Albert I work as a butler to the owner of this mansion, Suan. I work most exclusively on the first floor. I am afraid. I am hearing noises from my closet I don't know what it is but it gets louder the closer to midnight. I am writing this as I learn more about this noise. The noises sound like scratching… all I hear is scratching and at midnight I hear a light growl. It is 12:00 and the growl is no longer a light growl but now its a full on growl. I am going to try and sleep maybe this is all just a dream.
Night 2
Hello Journal today instead of lunch I searched the attic to look for lose wood to use to board my closet shut. I found nails, a hammer, and spare floorboards. Today has had been questionable some of the mansion staff is overworked the staff to a point where my sister Eleanor, and my brother Johnny almost collapsed. Oh no I lost track of time the noise is going to start. I am going to bard the closet……. Its done I boarded my closet off. The noise hasn't started. Its quite.. To quite. Wait I hear it under my bed.
Night 5
I can't take it that noise it's gotten so loud! I think I prefer it when it came from the closet. It has a horrendus stench. All of my hairs are standing on edge. Whatever this thing is it wants something but I don't know what yet. Please I hope this is just one big nightmare. I can't take it! I'm going to look under the bed… If I don't make it hopefully Eleanor, and Johnny finds this so they know to run. Ok… !’m going to look. There is nothing…. oh that's a relief. it was all my image… it touched me… it touched me. I am going to d
One thing Albert forgot to mention was his wife, the maid to suan’s crazy step-father.Pipes, the name of the crazy step-dad, stuffed his personal maid in a pipe. The pipe, located in the kitchen, near the pantry, was small. The crazy step-dad soon realized that the maid was to big to fit in the pipe. So the step dad cut her up into pieces and stuffed them in the pipe. The maid had a dog whom the crazy step-dad also despised. The step-dad was hungry, so the step-dad mutilated the dog and ate it, but not before roasting it. He started to shiver, so he left to go cut down some firewood. Except he never came back. He is still missing to this day.
The scary second floor It was a normal night on halloween. My friends and I were going trick or treating.
My friends and me went all around the neighborhood and we all saw a sign on a haunted house that said “Turn Back!’’
We ignored it and went inside the house and we heard a creaking sound the door shut behind us and the floorboards creaked very loudly.
“Youuuuuuu dare to come to my haunted house of doom?”
“Wh- who… who said that?!” my friend said.
“M-Mommmm?” I asked. “Is that you? Is this a joke?”
“NO!” “Your mom and dad are in a trap!”
“You let my mom and dad go, right now!” I said.
“I give the orders around here - You’re just a kid” said a ghost. I knew it was a ghost because I saw a white sheet that was floating above my friends.
“Well you may be in charge of this place, but how am I going to get my mom and dad back?”
The ghost said, “You must get through my traps!”
Little did the children know it was just Suan that was making those noises. She always had the best haunted house.
In about 1989 the willow street mansion was closing down because the owners on the whole private block could not pay the property tax. This made the people who worked for the willow family to become restless that they were going to lose their jobs. So on January 1st the first maid of the family murdered the chief named Marry. People think she did this because she wanted to get her life insurance money because she was her only family member remaining (she was her cousin). People who live on the block now and have dared to venture into the house and wind up in the ballroom kitchen say they have seen Marrys ghost, still lurking in the 2nd floor kitchen that once cooked for huge lugubrious parties. The kitchen hasn't changed much since 1989. People even say the the expensive wines are still in the same place they were left in. The only thing that has changed is the wall that has been boarded of because on vandalisme and a cracked mirror. People even say that there is a blood stain on the floor from were mary was stabbed and killed by the first maid. And if you think about it…
This happened way before Suan found it. Suan found it in 2001.
One day in 1974 New orleans, LA Chef B was in his bedroom reading his favorite book, “#1 CookBook”. Until he heard a blood curdling scream. He thought that it was just his son watching a horror movie, but he went down stairs to check it out. As he walks toward the house is silent… As he is in the living room, he sees his son. His son is almost dead. There is blood coming from his side. The chef dives to try to save him… but he’s already gone. The chef is mad and sad. The chef had to find who did this to his son… The killer was still in the house! The chef was scared and was angry. He was going to kill him. The chef went to the kitchen to get the biggest knife he owned. He went downstairs to look for them, but he was too scared so he went back up stairs. The killer followed him up the stairs. The killer busted through the locked door. He stabbed him twice one on the arm but it only grazed him, then he stabbed him in the back… and that’s what killed him, and all that was left was the KNIFE! These were the first tenets of Murder Mansion.
It was a normal day, people were in the ballroom until something terrible happened! The floor collapsed and a little boy Jimmy fell through! While in the hospital he died. The whole second floor could have collapsed and if that would have happened then the whole mansion would have been gone. So the family that owned the mansion said “ we could not let the mansion fall, so we will evacuate.” So everyone that lived in the mansion left so they would not be able to be hurt. Then the cook got really mad because that was the only job he could get. Then he went crazy and then he stabbed the owner of the house, because he couldn’t get another well paying job. After that the cook was found and killed… in jail by the other inmates! Little boy Jimmy were the first tenets 2nd son. Both of their sons died.
The thrilling third floor
One cold 10 degree evening in a Miami Mansion, an eighteen year old girl went to the bathroom which was very cold and drafty. When she entered she tripped on a soap bottle. She instantly slammed to the ground and hit her head on the bathtub and and a loud bang sounded across the whole mansion when she hit the gleaming white tiled floor, echoing her fall. The bathtub was filled with water and it splashed across the room. The floor shuttered and bottles fell on the ground. At this point the bathroom was a mess. The girl laid unconscious on the floor, for the whole house went silent for what seemed like forever…..
When her brother heard the bang he instantly headed for the spiral staircase. He was on the second floor when it happened. He finally made it to the top of the stairs. He began shouting the his dear sister’s name “Lucy,Lucy…..Lucy!” he shouted. Then he looked down the third floor hallway and saw the open door to the bathroom. After that he looked inside and saw Lucy on the ground. He was at a complete loss of words, he then stepped inside the room and stood by the toilet. With all the emotions inside him he started to cry. He was too late. His brother simply had nothing to do. He called the police and they brought her to the hospital. 1 hour after the incident she died in a hospital bed of a severe concussion and was knocked unconscious for just to long. Lucy’s parents raced to the hospital as fast as they could but they arrived too late to say goodbye.
This painting tells a story in 1877, about a couple named Julia and Robert. They lived in a huge mansion on 86th street. They had everything they ever wanted. Except a child. They had always wanted a child; they wanted a baby girl. They even knew what they would name her. Mary. When all hope was lost that they would never have a child, Julia became pregnant. Joy spread across the Walter family as the news of a new family member was coming. As the days went by, Julia became more and more tired each day. As she was going about her day she could feel the baby coming. She called her husband with sweat dripping down her forehead and trying to hold it together while she had contractions. Robert came right a way and they rushed to the hospital. They found out it was a girl. Though there was deformity in the baby. She was practically missing her pinky finger on her left hand. Her pinky finger was only about one centimeter long. The doctor that had delivered Julia and Robert’s baby said that due to the fact that she was born early the pinky finger did not develop in time before she was born. The doctor then walked into another room with his computer. A different doctor came in and said that the baby would be fine. They decided to name her Mary. Mary Grace Walter. They decided to homeschool Mary. Her uncle stepped up to the challenge of homeschooling her, but he also wanted to get to know her a bit more for he was the most excited about the birth of the child. As the days went on they grew closer and closer to each other, and soon Mary felt as though her uncle became a second father. Until one day Mary could tell her uncle was not the same. She grew more and more scared of him as he grew more and more frightening. On Tuesday the 22nd of January, her uncle became deadly, almost like a demon had possessed him. While her parents were away on a date her uncle took the opportunity to strike. Almost twenty years later, finally recovered from the loss of a very loved family member, Julia and Robert passed away. I would tell you more but it is just too awful to say and to tell you the truth. no one really knows what actually happened on that Tuesday. Well, I guess I can tell you one thing…it involved a creature with no soul and a thirst to kill all…and the Walter family had to say goodbye to the world forever.
Told By Ariana B.
This painting tells a story about a time in 1887, when the happiest couple that could be had a beautiful baby girl named Mary Grace Walter. At first, Mary was just seen as a little baby that was just as cheerful, cute, and cranky like any other ordinary infant. From the time little Mary blew out two candles and sucked the frosting off the bottom of them, things didn’t exactly work out between Julia and Robert with Mary. She was truly a girl with a heart so big that it could barely fit inside of her but no matter what she just didn't play with the other kids at school or at the park or any kid that wasn’t part of her family. Mary preferred adults over kids all the time unless it was her cousins. Then, after Mary turned three she just didn’t want to go to school and if her parents said she had to get ready for school she would simply slip on her school uniform, pack her backpack, get her lunchbox out of the fridge, and go straight into the car without saying a word. Then her parents would be parked in front of Cherry Jole Preschool and Mary would refuse to get out of the car and every time it ended up with Mary sitting on the floor in Robert’s office at home while Julia was at work. Finally after about three weeks after all of that nonsense Julia decided to phone her brother and she asked if he could homeschool Mary. Her brother recently retired from teaching and lived about twenty minutes away on 34th street. For the next two years everything was going smoothly with Julia off at work, Robert working on his studies in his office, and Larry continuing to homeschool Mary. They were just another regular as happy as could be family….well....at least they thought they were regular. I guess I should take out the ‘just regular’. As I was saying, they were just another as happy as could be family. On one bright and sunny, but chilly saturday in March, Robert decided that it was about time for him to take Julia out on a date so when Mary’s uncle got to their manchon with his many lessons to teach in his briefcase, Robert asked if Mary’s Uncle could stay with Mary and put her to bed so they don’t have to worry about getting home early when he’s on a date with his sister. It was decided that Mary’s Uncle would stay the night at their manchon and would take care of Mary. Robert knelt down and gave Mary a big bear hug and Mary puckered her lip, fluttered her eyelashes, and giggled. Robert chuckled and rubbed his hand on Mary’s head making her hair stand up everywhere with static. Julia thaen reached down picked Mary up and gave her a big kiss and that she will see her in the morning. That night Mary’s Uncle put Mary to bed nice and snug under the covers, read her a bedtime story called the Pink Pony. Then Mary fell sound asleep. Then, Mary’s Uncle got all went into the guest room he was sleeping in and watched TV. In the middle of the night Mary thought she heard some sort of scream but when she sat up and opened her eyes everything was silent so she fell right back asleep. Mary had a very awful dream after she fell asleep the second time that her uncle was summoned by a demon and turned into one himself. Mary crackerd her eyes open when she was about to turn over to her other side and could’ve sworn she saw a glimpse of her uncle. In the morning, Julia went to the guest room her brother had been sleeping in to tell him that Robert was almost done making breakfast. When she came into the room all she saw was papers everywhere and his briefcase open. Julia that that mabe Mary’s Uncle might have fallen asleep putting Mary to bed and his briefcase ha just fallen of the table. Julia then went into Mary’s bedroom and Mary Uncle wasn’t in there so she walked to the other side of the room and Mary’s Uncle was nowhere to be seen nor was Mary. Julia looked down and saw blood dripping from mary’s pillow, leading to the top of the bed frame, and dripping off the bed frame onto the green and purple striped carpet, creating a little pool of blood. There has been many rumors about what happened that Sunday morning, but know one actually knows the truth.
One day a girl named Anna went to make some popcorn in the kitchen. She was getting ready to watch a scary movie. BRING!!!!!!! Her phone rang. She got a paper towel, wiped off her hands, then walked into the other room and picked it up. “Wanna play a game.” the voice said. Anna had many friends so she thought it was a prank, “Very funny Josh.” Anna answered. “Look at your hand.” the voice said. Anna slowly looked at her hand when she looked she saw blood “Stop calling me you crazy psycho!” she ran to go wash off her hand in the bathroom and put some ointment on. When she came out her phone rang once again, “Look here, stop calling me or else I’ll call the police.” Anna tried to sound daring and like a threat. “You live in the middle of nowhere I bet I’ll have time, ready to play the game,” The voice said, “Your mom’s life depends on it.” Anna was so confused. “What do you mean?” Anna ansked. “Look in the bathroom.” She walked to the bathroom realizing that she was shaking a little. Anna slowly walked into through the glossy wooden doorway and saw her mother in a bathtub full of blood... chained up. “Help!” Anna quickly without thinking told the voice that she was ready to play. “Hi there” a man was in her bathroom with a white mask on. “AHHH!!!” she screamed. No one has ever went into that house ever again until 2020…

Investigators have been on this case for months but the only thing they found was the blood of the victims and a body but not just any body. The body of the owner of the mansion. He was found in the chimney hanging from a rope tied around his neck. The investigators say that the body had been there for an entire decade. They then they stayed over night and had found written in blood on the walls, ‘HELP’.They found more information about the house and it use to be an orphanage and it was bombed in world war 2. Many years later after being vacant, a couple name Julia and Robert decided to have the space rebuilt and eventually a big family lived in a huge beautiful mansion. All of the Walter family had already died. The Investigators found over 15 bodies in the basement. The next day instead of 15 bodies they found 10.

Living Room
This living room has been haunted by the many people that have died there. Ever since the owners left, intruders that had entered that room on the third floor have died.

Story TWO: Movie Warehouse
On a particularly rainy evening, two different groups of thieves and a solo operation had organized to break into the 20th century Fox prop warehouse in Hollywood. The first, a group of mischievous kids, Bob, Sally, Joe, and Robert, who were hoping to find some spare cash laying around in the warehouse, and maybe a few props to sell later in order to buy a PS4 gaming system. The second, a group more qualified association of professional thieves working for fake currency dealers picking up a batch of fake money left by their employers to bring it from the warehouse to the selling location. Their employers had been using the prop warehouse as a storage for fake money for approximately 4 years, and were paying the thieves to bring the fake money to an anonymous buyer whose intentions were unknown. The last of thieves was a solo thief who was hoping to have some fun in the scarcely secured warehouse.
The solo thief broke into a movie prop warehouse under the false information that the props being used for a new western movie that is in production titled Spaghetti In The Desert were worth more than what they actually were. she had climbed to the fourth floor of the building, and avoided the first, second and third floor because she heard voices coming from inside, so she broke in through the back stair who nobody used or pays attention to, because in the 21st century, the average American avoids stairs.
Now, you might be thinking, why? Why did this thief break in to this building to try to get some money of selling movie props? Well, she was training, and was timing herself in how fast she could get from her car to the warehouse, steal some props, and get back to her car without getting caught.
This thief had broken in, and since she had seen no security whatsoever, she had given up stealth and relaxed a little. She broke the locked door leading to one of the rooms from the stairs and walked calmly across the room towards the minecart tracks but thought she would quickly raise attention from the noise, so she looked around, and spotted a vent. Not seeing the ladder in the corner, she dragged over the table but came up short and couldn't reach the vent, so she looked around once more and saw the folded up ladder and dragged it over, unfolded it, and climbed up to the vent and after a few tugs, pulled it loose and climbed in.
The kids, being non experienced thieves, broke in through the front door and started doing cartwheels and rolls to try to act like ninjas. They took the sideways and up and down elevator to the 3rd floor, because americans avoid stairs in the 21st century. They started to get discouraged because of the strange and somewhat unsettling mask room complete with iron grated walls and wires hanging from the ceiling. They were casually looking at the masks, which were mangled and creepy looking. when they heard the DING of the elevator doors opening in the next room over, and quickly hid in the cabinets and tried not to breathe. A worker with a name tag saying ‘Olivia’ came in through the doorway, ushering in a man, presumably a new investor seeing the tour of the building. As soon as the kids heard them leave, they ran into the room that woman and man had come through. They stepped into a bright room full of clothes masks and other things like swords. They heard the door opening, panicked, and hid in the unusually large costumes box. When they heard the employee leave, they tried to open the box, and found that the costume box’s lid was too heavy to lift with the strength of only one kid, so they tried to all push it at the same time, an after a few tries, opened the box, only to find four adults dressed in black standing in front of the box.
The group of thieves were picking up the 2000 dollars of fake cash left buy their employer, who was using the warehouse as a front for trafficking fake currency. Their employer ha hired them to take the money, which would be hid on the second floor of the warehouse buy their employer himself, who would be acting as a possible investor for the warehouse. They had been instructed to look in a costume box on the third floor, and were about to crack open the lid
Alice, a new employee at a movie prop warehouse, ran a small store on the first floor. She was very excited, she had a big plan to decorate the warehouse. She worked on her floor and ran out of decorations, she walked to the 4th floor to look for decorations because they recently finished up with a Christmas movie, and were stocking props for the upcoming western Spaghetti in the Dessert but didn't know what to do with their old props. She made her way up and heard other footsteps, and thought that there shouldn't be other people there, it was a weekend. She was there to surprise her fellow workers with a day of the dead themed party on the first floor. She had decided to go the extra mile and work extra to prepare the rooms. She went to investigate, but only found her colleague Olivia leading a man through the warehouse, and continued to the fourth floor. Once at the fourth floor, she picked up a guitar hanging above a door , but as she turned around to leave, she saw the table pulled up and the stairs unfolded, and then looked up, and saw the vent hanging open, and rushed downstairs and called 911.
James, A new investor for the warehouse recently took the tour .He thought it was perfect. He has a little “side business” he knows some counterfeiters and he knew this would be a good location the leave money to be moved. He moved away from the from the tour and dropped some bundles in a particularly large costume box. He took the elevator to the first floor and texted his to look for a huge costumes box. His movers, a group of thieves, were to take the money to an anonymous buyer waiting in a store 2 blocks away. James was already suspected by the police, so he had hired the thieves to bring the fake money to the buyer instead of himself.
The kids were scared to death, and didn't say a word. The adults jumped back, and the kids screamed at the top of their lungs, but were quickly shushed by the thieves, who proceeded to convince the kids that they were actors, and were picking up costumes for Spaghetti in the dessert for their rehearsal on the second floor. As the kids were riding the elevator, and the leader, bob, said, “wait a minute! Why would actors show up for rehearsals in a prop warehouse?!” and he proceeded to call 911, but after telling them the situation, the police asked, why they were there, so bob panicked and hung up. They proceeded to escape the premise.
The solo thief had successfully stolen a fake cactus (it was painful to carry) when she was spotted, so she dumped the cactus and ran to her car and drove to a local game stop and bought a game called sneak thief.

Story Three: Movie Theater
It was the first weekend with Deadpool 2 out in theaters. It was the last weekend with The Emoji movie in theaters. The lines were long. Josephine Donahue was a girl in her early 20s. She had already seen it, but she wanted to see Wonder again. Her friend, Cara Parker, was supposed to meet her there. They had met back in the summer of 5th grade at summer camp. They were in the same cabin, Tiger Lodge. They were instant friends. If it was the way Cara laughed at all of Josephine’s jokes or the way Josephine was really friendly, they didn't know. It was probably both. Josephine waited for about 15 minutes for her friend. “Hey! Sorry I'm late. There was bad Traffic,” Cara waved talking fast as she always did. “No problem. I have your ticket. Lets go get popcorn,” Josephine said, handing her a ticket. They walked together to the popcorn machine. The teenager behind the desk waved. They waved back. They grabbed a large popcorn (extra butter, just like they liked it), a box of Sour Patch kids, and 2 large drinks. They payed and walked out. They went up the stairs to theater 5. Trailers had just started. They took their seats, 8 rows back, 5 seats in. They sat as the lights grew dim and the movie began.
It is the last day for The Emoji Movie and Wonder Woman to be in theaters. I am just getting to work at the theater. I get inside and pull my hair back in a ponytail, it’s hot in the theater. I jog over to Ben; my partner. We walk over to the snack bar together. When we get there we unlock the door with my key, I think he left his at home. I immediately start the popcorn machine and the popcorn starts popping. It smells like butter and salt in here and I love it. Ben is heating up pizza slices and these really good pretzels. I walk into the employee room, it is dark and musty. I turn on the lights and a few seconds later the whole room lights up. I walk over to a huge bin and open it, there are the popcorn bags that I placed in there yesterday. I take them out of the room and close the door behind me. I set the on top of the popcorn machine and start filling them. People start coming, one after one they file in. Not as many as yesterday or the day before. I start selling bag after bag of popcorn. I go back into the storage room to grab more bags. It is nearing the end of the day, it is the final showing of wonder woman today and we only have 2 more customers. This man wants a bag of not buttered or salted plain popcorn, he pays in pennies. Then he takes the bag and walks over to the wall on the left side of the room, and starts chewing his popcorn. Ben serves the lady while she talks about how excited she is to see wonder woman today. He gets a heated slice of pizza from the oven and places it on a paper plate, then he gives her a soda cup to fill. She goes and fills it with diet coke and comes back and gives Ben the money. I am really hungry so I start snacking on some popcorn. Now that other man is looking at me creepily. Finally we close up and I go out of the theater, grab my bike and go home.
After a long day ticketing cars who were parked in the wrong place, arresting helpless teenagers for minor felonies, and silently crying to myself, I came home. But really, I don’t think anyone could call it a home. It was a little closet coated with grey dust, and badly painted walls. There was a small window, looking at the wall of the next building. I wished I could get out of this so called house, move to a better house, get a better life, maybe even a wife. But I knew that would never happen. But with the salary I got, and with night school. I knew I was hopeless. I went down the stairs of my sad apartment building, to see if I had any mail. Maybe I would get a letter from my small sister, a very rich and powerful small sister. She hit it big with the singing industry, and didn’t let her big brother get a crumb of bread from her breakfast. I usually didn’t even get to eat any breakfast, because I couldn’t afford it. When I got to the mail boxes, I saw my landlord looking through my mail. She was a tall woman with a handbag, and a fancy scarf. She always wore sleeveless shirts that didn’t cover her stomach, tight leggings (That she thought made her look smaller than she actually was.), and a ruffled pink skirt. She had a tan letter in her hand and a little package in the other. As soon as she saw me, her eyes went big and she started throwing my stuff back in all the wrong mailboxes. When she finished she looked at me with a fake smile and said “So you didn’t get any mail today, so sad, maybe tomorrow.” She walked away with a smug grin on her face. When she got to her office she looked back at me and blew me a sarcastic kiss. I hate her so much. Ever since the day I got here, she was looking through my mail. I retrieved the mail I got from all the other boxes. There was (yet again) a tan letter and a package. I opened the letter and I read it. It read: “Hello Richard Williams, (That’s my name) we have taken account of your police duties and poor living style and have an ideal place where you can work. We have a job for you at the local movie theater. Sincerely, the manager of ‘Movies to the world!’” This was amazing! I was finally getting a job somewhere other than that dumb police job. It was fun and all, but I didn’t get enough money to support myself. I opened the small package and in it was the keycard for the security room, at the theater! I was filled with joy! I went back to my apartment and went to sleep happy for the first time in over a year. The next day I went over to the theater and got to the front desk. “Hello, Mr. WIlliams. I have your uniform in the back. Come.” Said the man at the front desk. I went back with him and there was my uniform. I went to the bathroom and changed into it. When I got into the suit, I went to the security room and settled down. I turned on the television and turned on a movie. It was the best thing I had ever seen. For one of the first times, ever, I felt good.
The Maelstrom was a bar established in 1899.Ten years after when movies were first invented, we still had people playing pianos for dramatic effect instead of the music being pumped out of a speaker like today. Today things were a heck lot less fancier then now, I should now my Great, Great, Great grandfather told me by passing stories down, there were less exorbitant thing back, Then again this bar may seem rugged but please take a trip down to the old Maelstrom you won’t regret it ……*wink*
Mack rushed to the mailbox in the morning like he did every day, hoping for something special, not just gossip magazines for his mom. Today, he found a golden envelope and immediately ran back to his house to show his parents. He tore open the envelope, and it said that everyone in the family was invited to watch Coco on the 4th floor at the local movie theater. Mack excitedly said to his parents, “ Oh cool, some of my friends just saw Coco and said it was one of the best Pixar movies they’ve ever seen.” One week after he opened that letter, he found himself walking up to the front door of the theater, took the escalator up to the 2nd floor, then the 3rd, and finally the 4th. Mack assumed that it was just a nice theater when he walked up to the ticket stand. When he picked up his popcorn before the movie and walked through the entrance to get into the hallway with different theaters, he realized that was a bad assumption. This was an extremely fancy, VIP, once in a lifetime movie theater. He looked at his parents, wide eyed and said, “I c-c-can’t believe this place! I mean, how c-c-can a VIP theater be this Fancy?” Mack’s dad was strutting around until he had to sit down because he just couldn’t believe his eyes. Mack was walking quickly because there were so many thoughts billowing in his head. He was intrigued by the yellow and black checkered floor tiles that paved the way to each theater, because it was like an optical illusion. He also noticed the beautiful paint on the walls. The drywall was a mix of red and orange that swooped and swirled as you strolled down the room. What made the theater even more colourful, was the grand entrances to each theater. The two smaller theaters, which were playing Coco and Justice League, were both in a beautiful blue and the biggest theater door was a fading purple. There were also posters on the ground explaining which theater was which. Closer to the wall, on the other side of the room, there was a turquoise bin to put your 3D glasses in when the movie was finished. Mack’s mom was already walking into the right theater, but the hallway that he was in already brought him cheerfulness because of all the wonderful decorations that circled him. He walked into the theater dazed with all of the colors swirling around in his head and hopefully a good movie like Coco would really finish of the day on a high note. It was truly a amazing day.
Clary was tired of being in charge of the concessions for the snooty VIP. This was not what she signed up for. Yes, she did sign up for the program where she could go to law school for half the price if she worked at the Legendary Theatre. Yes, she was warned by the alums that she wouldn’t get a wink of sleep, but she needed the money. The money that would help pay for her dream. Her dream was to become a Supreme Court Judge. It was far fetched but Clary wanted to try. The vision of being Supreme Court Judge made a small smile sneak onto her glum face on a long hard day of work. Edmund hated drunks. He hated them because he used to be one, and when he was one, he lost everything. That was what got him a job at Legendary theatre. Slowly he rebuilt his life with the money he earned from the theatre. He would stare at the rich men, velvet suits, shiny shoes, fancy hats come right up to him and order the worst beer. Then, they would drink it right in front of him, instead of joining their families. Edmund just stared at them. Frederick thought he had the worst job. He used to be in charge of Walnut Co, a company that produced typewriters, but his business was dying. Three customers a day was a miracle. So he closed it and got the first job opening he could: VIP Concession stand worker. Basically he stood in one place, leaving the only speck of dirt on the shiny wooden floor, with a list of names. Then when people tried to enter he’d ask their names. If their names were on the list, he’d open the soft constraints and let them in. A smile from him was a miracle itself. Clary, Edmund, and Frederick were all each other had. Edmund and Frederick never smiled, but Clary’s smile kept them going. Clary knew she had to dream on to get through the night. So after, while the VIPs with their riches fought, payed, sat down on the plush seats, and left, there was hope floating in the air with all the sadness. They were free, but until then, Clary’s smile was the sun on a rainy day. Who knows what would happen when Clary became Supreme Court Judge, Edmund would have his life put together, and Frederick’s business would become popular. Clary often thought the walls and ceiling looked like a watermelon, “Those watermelon walls are the only thing I would miss as Supreme Court Judge,” Clary often told Edmund at the end of the night when they were cleaning. Edmund noticed her bright face and admitted, “My eyes are always on the drunks,” and smiled, he felt a friendship rising.
In the basement of the town movie theatre that Mr. and Mrs. Hutches own there are so many old fashioned gadgets that people once used to show movies. There are old popcorn machines, old posters, chairs that they modeled for theatre, old rugs and extra stock. The town movie theaters strives to have a tidy theatre so they can bring more customers. They keep stock in the basement they regularly go down and check to make sure that they keep it tidy and make sure people are cleaning the right way on their shift. Mrs. Hutches recently hired a person to keep the basement clean and to keep their stock untouched because the movie theatre is experiencing a vermin problem. The mice have been getting the their stock, and a customer complained about seeing a mouse underneath their chair. Mr. Hutches spent most of the movie theaters saving towards rent on installing lighting in the basement to catch the vermin. Mr and Mrs. Hutches haven’t noticed that they have a pipe leakage but Bianca one of the employees has noticed this and is taking care of it but isn’t sure if she should burden the Hutches with yet another problem. She always has this ongoing question in her head, should I or should I not tell my boss about the leakage? I wouldn’t like to lose my job if I don’t take care of it but all in all will I end up unemployed. So Bianca told the Hutches about the leak and she ended up head of the basement team and got a promotion from her honesty and bravery. This shows no matter the size you can accomplish anything.
In the basement of the movie theater Ally was moving boxes. She was told to find a couple new posters for the new movies. Once she found the posters, she brought the posters up to the main floor. Then they sent her back down to the basement to get a few boxes of candy. Once she got back in the basement she saw a mouse. She screamed because Ally hates mice. Afterword Ally said that she was fine, so then no one would think she was hurt or something like that. Then she found the shipments of candy. Then, because the basement looked a bit messy she started to clean it up, and then she found a box full with moldy old popcorn, and it smelled so bad she almost threw up! But she restrained herself from vomiting.
“Find coco” I yelled, I was searching everywhere for the movie. It must be past the popcorn machine! Or the other movies in the game room, and the posters. I feel like I'm trying to find pin in a haystack! so hard I looked in the boxes of movies feeling a slight chill making my nike sweatshirt not warm enough anymore. I look around and see posters.
In the basement there are different things that will be in the movie theater. For example there is, stale popcorn on the floor, old movies scattered throughout the basement, new movie posters rolled up and in boxes, broken chairs along the walls, fixed chairs away from the broken ones, an air hockey table against the wall with a ragged sheet over it, a pinball table, scattered chips, old and expired candy, broken popcorn makers, nacho cheese/chips on the floor, new shirts/pants in a pile on a box, a clean water bottle sitting all alone off to the side, cleaning rags in a pile in the corner, a cracked light bulb , old paper cups that are scattered all over, a broken cash register, ratted ear mikes hidden in the corner, a tattered microphone, ripped hats, a broken washer machine/dryer, glass windows in a stack in the corner, extra light bulbs in a dusty musty old box, and extra movie tickets scattered carelessly, annnnnd...that's the basement!
There were 2 groups, 6 lives, 2 groups one play. Sammie, Zhamis, Clare. Za Hiou, Tera, and Markus. Sammie’s group were good people. They cared about all their family, were kind people to most, and took care of each other. Like everyone they had their ups and downs, good people with bad actions. Things they’ve done in the past that they can not forgive themselves for. Things that their victims cannot forgive themselves for. And every night these things stop them from sleeping, stop there lips from curling up into a smile, prevent their minds to be as sharp, their hearts are cold and ruthless. They are murderers, interrogators, robbers that will do anything to get what they need. They have their downs and ups. But there downs weigh the ups down by to much. Each of them has a different situation but they are with each other every day
Sammie has white skin with curly hair. Short fingernails and usually wears a long sleeve shirt with blue jeans and black old school vans. He has a 12 karat gold chain that he leaves out of his shirt to match with the yellow laces he traded for his regular white laces. Zhamis has dark brown skin. He was adopted from Zimbabwe by his two white parents. He has a silver bracelet he wears along with a bulls hat and a red sweatshirt and black shorts. His shoes are size 14 gym shoes. He always wears white or black socks.
Clare is white with red short hair. She wears blue skinny jeans with holes and a cool black shirt. She wears golden earrings and always has about five rubber bands on her wrist. Clare wears a lot of shoes including black slippers, highlight gym shoes, and another pair of red flyknits. There were all raised in the orphanage and have attitudes that left them kicked out of their parents houses. Their rebels and the things they do are the only reasons that they are still alive and eating well. Sammie’s group sits right next to Tera’s group consisting of Za Hiou and Markus. They are straight A students and barely get in trouble. When they do get in trouble it is very small. They are good people with loving and proud parents. They were born and raised in America. They don't have too much time to hang out because they have to focus on school. These two groups are opposite but after the play their lives will be switched. Two opposite groups, will be locked in at night. And a magical force will switch their lives and circumstance around. But after the day ends their lives will be switched back around and their memory of the whole thing will be lost. The two groups will walk out and return to their normal lives. But the two groups will see each other everywhere. They will not intend to see eachother but the force of magic will control their minds to meet. By the time they have met ten times, on the tenth time magic will bond they two groups together as one person. One side of good and one side of evil. They would eventually roam the universe visiting planets causing great good and great evil. They will have no memory of being a human. As the angle or devil they are, they will be hunted by a gathering force of different planets most elite teams searching to kill them. Weather they die or live they will forever be known as the opposites.
